PARIS (Reuters) – The technical tests for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games scheduled for May 27 have been postponed, we learned from Paris town hall on Friday, confirming information from Le Parisien.
“The flow of the Seine is too high. We are trying to get as close as possible to the real conditions of July 26,” Pierre Rabadan, deputy in charge of Sport, the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Seine, told Reuters.

These technical tests had already been postponed on April 8, as announced by the Minister of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games Amélie Oudéa-Castéra.

No new date has yet been set, while to date, the dress rehearsal scheduled for June 17 is maintained.
