Former French biathlete Martin Fourcade has been elected to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Athletes’ Commission, the IOC announced Thursday in Beijing on the sidelines of the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
Fourcade, 33, has joined this commission for eight years, the mission of which is “to represent the athletes and support them, both on and off the competition field”.
