The filming of the Lupine series was targeted by mortar fire this Friday, February 25. Le Parisien has made new revelations about the circumstances of this attack.
Omar Sy and his team were filming season 3 of Lupine, which will be broadcast on Netflix, in the Pablo-Picasso district of Nanterre in the Hauts-de-Seine, this Friday, February 25. A shooting which was abruptly interrupted around 3 p.m., whena “twenty hooded people” attacked members of the film crew and actors. The production was “attacked with fireworks mortar fire”. The objective of this attack was to steal equipment. The amount of the loot of the aggressors would amount to 300,000 €.
This Sunday, February 27, The Parisian had more details on the circumstances of this attack. According to a police source, in addition to the mortars, the attackers were “armed with knives”, weapons which they would not have used. In addition to filming equipment, “They also took the opportunity to collect personal belongings from the people on the set. Phones but also jackets, wallets, etc.”, also indicates a source close to the file in the columns of the daily newspaper. This same source also states that “no one was arrested” at this stage of the investigation.
