On a steep meadow – farmer injured in vehicle crash in St. Johann

A 65-year-old farmer and his “Muli” slipped on a steep meadow on Tuesday afternoon and fell. The farmer was able to free himself from the vehicle, but had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance.

When the farmer was working with the “mule” on the steep meadow in St. Johann-Plankenau, the vehicle suddenly skidded and rolled over. After the rollover, the vehicle came to rest on its wheels. The 65-year-old was able to free himself and went to the house about 70 meters away, where his son called the rescue service. This brought the farmer to the Schwarzach hospital with unspecified injuries. The fire department recovered the vehicle with a hydraulic crane.
