Like Eric Judor in Platane or Blanche Gardin in The Best Version of Myself, the actress embodies her own role, with an essential balance between self-mockery and authenticity.
Through 8 episodes of 30 minutes, Florence Foresti takes us on a daily life as a famous and single quadra. Consumed by her anxieties, her anxiety materializes before our eyes in an unexpected form, and offers a surreal dimension to the story. A nugget series not to be missed!
The Staircase – Thursday, October 13
2001, North Carolina. Best-selling novelist Michael Peterson finds his wife lying in a pool of blood at the foot of their home’s stairs. Then launches an incredible and publicized judicial soap opera, which unleashes passions and tears the family apart.
This true story, which was the subject of the exciting documentary mini-series Soupçons in 2004, is now adapted in The Staircase, an 8-episode story to discover from October 13 on myCANAL. Led by Colin Firth and directed by Antonio Campos, the series paints an intimate portrait of this family broken by mourning, and offers a fascinating mise en abyme of a case over which mystery still hangs.
