On Monday evening – a fire at Bosch in Hallein kept Floriani busy

On Monday evening, the Hallein volunteer fire department had their hands full. At around 6:00 p.m., a fire broke out in the Bosch server room – a fire detector triggered the alarm. “Smoke and high temperatures” made it difficult to work in the basement, says local fire brigade commander Josef Tschematschar.

Above all, the lack of an exhaust air opening and the built-in plastic bothered the Floriani. After 8 p.m., extinguishing work was carried out. The cause of the fire is currently still unclear. 40 firefighters from the Hallein volunteer fire brigade and the Bad Dürrnberg fire engine were on duty – at the same time a truck had to be rescued on the Dürrnberg Landesstraße.
