On Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+: three heroic films and series to watch in streaming this weekend

American Sniper (Netflix)

However, his reputation spreads beyond enemy lines, so much so that a price is put on his head and he becomes a favored target of the insurgents. When he returns home, Chris realizes that he cannot return to a normal life.

Braveheart (Disney+)

In 1995, Mel Gibson brought to the big screen the tumultuous life of William Wallace, hero and symbol of Scottish independence who, at the end of the 13th century, faced the troops of King Edward I of England who had just invaded his country .

After two programs devoted to a recent conflict, we change era and go back in time with Braveheart. Mel Gibson offers us here an epic drama lasting almost three hours which propels its audience into the heart of the Scottish countryside to tell us a quest for freedom. The staging is magnificent, the battles are spectacular, and Gibson perfectly embodies an unforgettable hero. For the historical reality of the facts, we will come back, but when it comes to breathtaking war films, we have rarely done better.
