An Italian citizen was out and about in Salzburg’s old town on New Year’s Eve. Her handbag was stolen in the Residenzbrunn area. There were expensive items inside.
The 53-year-old had in her handbag a branded watch with a new price of around 50,000 euros as well as high-quality sunglasses and identification documents. The Italian reported the theft to the police shortly after midnight. However, she was unable to provide any information about the perpetrator.
