Already on March 1, shortly before 11 p.m., a 36-year-old driver of a police patrol noticed that he was speeding and driving unsafely.
At a roundabout in Thalgau, the Lungauer bumped into several traffic facilities, but continued his journey without stopping. Despite repeated attempts to stop, the man continued driving his badly damaged car. After about three kilometers, partly driving on the wheel rim, the driver had to stop the journey because of the severe damage to the vehicle. His alcohol test showed a value of 1.8 per thousand. The driver’s license was temporarily withdrawn. He is charged with hit-and-run and disregarding stop signs.
