Again and again, the opposition parties in the state parliament, in particular, come across the formulation in their inquiries: “These questions are not subject to the right of interpellation of the Salzburg state parliament.” This means that the processes in companies in which the state has a stake and areas that are outsourced to a GmbH remain were, often in the dark. The FPÖ now wants to change that with a motion in the state parliament. “If the state government does not want the opposition to gain insight into state-owned companies, they outsource them to a GmbH,” says FPÖ leader Marlene Svazek.
