On Sunday – sugared mountains in Salzburg

The wet and cold weather has left its mark on Salzburg. The picture by “Krone” photographer Roland Holitzky shows the Katschberg on Sunday at seven o’clock in the morning with a coat of snow.

But that is not a harbinger of winter. The good news: It should get warmer again from the middle of the week. Then Salzburg is facing an Indian summer. The rain should gradually stop and the temperatures should rise again. By next week, the domestic thermometers could then climb back to more than 25 degrees.
