On the last day of school – girl (7) rolled over by car in the middle of the outdoor pool

Tragic accident, of all things, on the last day of school: a seven-year-old girl was run over by a car in the middle of the outdoor pool in Neufelden (Upper Austria) while her dad was in the pool. A rescue helicopter flew the child to the hospital in Linz.

A seven-year-old girl from Altenfelden started her long summer vacation with her dad (42). The two used the hot weather on Friday afternoon to visit the outdoor pool in Neufelden. In the early evening hours, there was a serious accident. Car stopped immediately A 21-year-old local resident drove his car onto the grounds of the outdoor pool to unload a refrigerator there for an event. Then he put the car in gear and drove off again. In doing so, he noticed that he was rolling over “something”. The young man stopped immediately, got out – and discovered the seven-year-old girl next to the right rear side of the vehicle. Dad was in the pool The car had probably run over the child. According to other bathers, the girl’s father was in the pool at the time of the tragic accident. His little daughter had to be flown to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz by helicopter. The exact extent of her injuries was initially unknown.
