On Sunday afternoon, a 36-year-old hiker had an accident in the area of the Nockstein summit cross.
The woman slipped on a climbing passage and then fell about three meters onto the hiking trail below. She suffered a concussion and a fracture of the vertebral process in the area of the thoracic spine. The casualty was flown to the LKH Salzburg by rescue helicopter.
