As Daphne and her husband Scott prepared to get to their car, the birth started in a flash. “I had two minutes between each, I felt that it was going very quickly. I clung to Scott. The door opened and my mother came in when the contraction came. My water broke and I felt the baby descend.”
Change of plan for the Ferembachs, who understood that they were going deliver their baby together. Scott, project manager in charge of network renovation projects for Enedis, confided in the Dauphine Libere :
It was like an emergency situation: a lot of concentration, not too much emotion at the time […] In two thrusts, I saw the baby’s head come up, it was really striking. I took cushions, towels… I had the gestures in mind. I didn’t want to be taken aback, I had prepared myself just in case, and I was able to do what had to be done.

He will be the third child to declare Poisy as his place of birth since 2011!
