A 75-year-old German lost his way while hiking on the Postalm in Salzburg. He could no longer go back and forth and ended up spending the night in a mountain pine field.
On Tuesday, September 26th, the 75-year-old German lost his way during his hiking tour on the Postalm. The man could no longer make any progress in the impassable terrain and spent the night between mountain pines due to his state of exhaustion. Today, Wednesday, in the morning, the German finally notified the emergency services. Shortly after 10 a.m., the 75-year-old was located by the Libelle police helicopter northeast of the Scharfen, in the municipality of Strobl, and rescued using rope. The German remained unhurt.
