When the contractions started, things got serious
After just a short drive on the outskirts of Eferding, the contractions came at intervals of one to three minutes and Theresa was no longer aware of what was going on around her, as she had to actively breathe out every contraction. Another five minutes later she felt like she had to push and couldn’t hold it in any longer. “When my wife said to me that I should pull over at the next opportunity because she had to push now, I knew that things were getting serious now,” Alexander remembers well. He immediately made the emergency call and explained to the dispatcher that his wife would now give birth in the car.
