THE FILM OF THE DAY
A prequel to Star Wars, Attack of the Clones dwells on Darth Vader’s teenage years, blending darkness and romance through the early fall of the Republic and the budding romance between Anakin and Padmé. Even if some spectators were seduced by this romance, the purists of the saga did not hesitate to highlight its most grotesque aspects.
The frolicking scene of the two characters in the green grass of Naboo in particular aroused sarcasm and mockery. Judged as the paroxysm of ridicule, the moment when the young Jedi knight rodeos on the behind of a Shaak (those famous animals resembling sheep) under the admiring eyes of the senator nevertheless represented one of the major technical challenges. special effects teams!
