The New York Stock Exchange ended up divided on Tuesday, before a decision by the Fed, with the Nasdaq reaching a new record, boosted by Apple, while the bond market benefited from the nervousness in Europe.
The Nasdaq gained 0.88%, the S&P 500, which advanced 0.27%, also reached a new record and the Dow Jones lost 0.31%, according to provisional results.
