Windows 11
offers a new revised and corrected task manager with some new features. The Redmond firm does not intend to stop there and is already planning new improvements.
The task manager should become more informative in the future, with the addition of two new sections.
New options for the task manager
The leaks around future Windows 11 features don’t stop. A few days ago, we learned more about the future Tablet mode and the priority notification system. Now we know more about what Microsoft is cooking for the task manager. Beyond an upcoming redesign, the utility should be adorned with new options, identified in build 22543 of the Dev channel.
These new features actually take the form of new sections of the Task Manager intended to display “Battery Health” and “Application Health”. If the novelties are still enigmatic, we know that these two options will inform users of the problems detected for each of the two categories. From there, the task manager will suggest solutions to optimize them as well as possible.
According to the leaker FireCube, at the origin of this discovery, new options for starting applications are also being studied, without anyone knowing more for the moment. Judging by the comments left by the developers, the design of these novelties could be subject to further changes. We will certainly have to be patient before they are deployed on a large scale.
