One day, one destiny: Laurent Delahousse still very bitter about the end of the show

Asked by our colleagues from Liberation, Laurent Delahousse obviously did not digest the end of his show Un jour, un destin, in 2019.

He is now a key figure in France 2. Laurent Delahousse at the head of the newspaper of the second channel or even of 8:30 p.m. on Sunday answered questions from our colleagues from Release who thus painted his portrait in their edition. And the least we can say is that stopping his show One day, one destinyin 2019, still does not pass for the presenter. “At the time of his crystal wedding with France 2, he could not digest that his program Un jour, un destin, which told the life of known people, was reduced to a trickle ‘declared obsolete, overnight, without explanation'”, can we read.

In effect, the abrupt end of the show had been very messy at the time. If rumors had been launched, France Télévisions had published in a tweet: “We reassure our viewers: no deletion of the programs Let the accused enter and One day, a destiny on our antenna”. But some time later, Takis Candilis, Deputy Director General for the antenna and programs of France Télévisions declared: “We’re finishing shooting some, I think we have four more to shoot”, he explained about the issue of Laurent Delahousse.

End clap for Un jour, un destin

So it was over for One day, one destiny : “We did a hundred and we think that today it is becoming more and more difficult to find great destinies, great days, and so we are working with Laurent on a new program and a new form. of emission, that is our objective”. If the show was to be broadcast on France 3, France Télévisions’ plans have changed.
