How freenet Travel works

The only requirement for freenet Travel is an eSIM-enabled device with a camera, which almost all modern smartphones have. You then scan the QR code and click on the link.

You can use the SIM manager to set up an eSIM as a secondary card at best. If the setup was successful, you will receive a link to the booking page. There you can then select the relevant country and data package. Once the booking is complete, you can start straight away.

Tips for using freenet Travel

This has the advantage that you can continue to use your actual SIM card and thus your normal number in order to be able to use WhatsApp without any problems.
