Spotted by the new branch of Focus Entertainment dedicated to independent games, Blacktail is a title to keep in view. Inspired by the myth of the witch Baba Yaga, the action adventure game recently passed through our hands and is now illustrated in a new trailer. An overview of the gameplay, just to have a fairly complete overview of all the mechanics.
Arc and sorcery on the program
Nothing really new in this video, but three minutes that sum up the adventure of Blacktail. The title will make us follow Yaga, a young girl of 16, who will go in search of her sister. The game will juggle between narration, action and adventure, where we will use a bow to fight from a distance.
The magic is also very present, both in the lore and through the games with the enemies, where you can lure the enemies using brooms and defend yourself with a hocus of reflection. Yaga will also have a rise in power with skills to unlock and you will have to watch his alignment since a morality system will take you either on the path of light or on the path of shadows.
Blacktail will arrive on December 15, 2022 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. No (yet?) physical version on the program, the title should only be available digitally at a price of €29.99.
