One More Gate: Planning from Early Access to final release

After a short demo, One More Gate is coming to Early Access on Steam and the Ankama Launcher! For the occasion, the game’s communications team provided a detailed (and pictorial) plan for the future of development.

One More Gate: What happens with Early Access and beyond

Since its arrival on the Ankama Launcher, the game has come a long way, with two convention stops and several gameplay improvements. If our test of the new version is still in progress, the previous one in demo was very promising, as we wrote in this article. However, this Early Access is like most of its kind incomplete. This is to verify that the corrections compared to the demo are effective and to gradually introduce content to the player without disorienting them.

Currently, the game offers 2 dungeons with the “basic” mechanics. Eventually, 4 will be there with mini dungeons, quests and overall more content in addition to the main gameplay. Note in particular an iterative phase on the story itself which will be less evasive on the character of Oropo.

However, some data is missing from the infographic. For example, the mention of the Nintendo Switch version is absent, as is the game’s release date, which is still scheduled for the beginning of 2023 (during 2023 for the Nintendo version). Other information should appear soon, in particular on the Krosmonote. If this one is dedicated to Lance Dur, it is not impossible that news around One More Gate will be part of the event.
