Surprise for Wes Anderson fans! After “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar”, Netflix is releasing three other new films by the director, also adapted from short stories by Roald Dahl.
Highly anticipated by Wes Anderson fans, the new film The Marvelous Story of Henry Sugar is finally available on Netflix. Based on Roald Dahl’s 1977 short story of the same name, this 37-minute medium-length film brings together Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, Dev Patel, Richard Ayoade and Ben Kingsley in a colorful adventure shot on 16mm.
The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar follows the life of a rich man who has a great penchant for gambling. He will discover the existence of a strange patient from India capable of seeing despite his sewn eyes, who uses his abilities for a very lucrative circus act.
Henry Sugar decides to obtain abilities similar to the one considered a guru and to set up a scheme that will earn him a huge sum of money by scouring the casinos.
