The game in question is Octopath Traveler, the one that paved the way for the HD-2D graphics trend. Yes, we told you that it was a great license. The popularity of this title from Square Enix is well established. The same goes for its sequel, which is simply wonderful. Overall, this is a must-play for all J-RPG fans across the world. Especially those who are a little nostalgic for the past. The problem is that as explained above, it is currently no longer available for purchase on the Big N platform.
Square Enix obviously published a message on Twitter to clarify the situation. Well, sort of. In truth, he did not provide the slightest explanation for the disappearance of Octopath Traveler from the Nintendo Switch eShop. On this point, we are still in the dark. On the other hand, the firm affirmed that it was only temporary, and that it was working on it. Since we haven’t had a reason from Square Enix, the theories have been rife. For many, this is likely due to a change in the publisher that is listed.
