According to recent leaks, the Japanese giant will soon launch a Nintendo Direct outside of the Summer Game Fest 2024 slot. A new leak relating to one of the games that will be presented there in any case adds to the credit to such rumors.

According to a fairly reputable leaker, a Nintendo Direct should have taken place on June 11, the day after the Ubisoft Forward. This was unfortunately not the case. Another leaker therefore made his own prediction, indicating that the next big Big N event would take place by the end of June. And now a third leaker evokes the expected presentation. The generally well-informed Pyoro shared a post from Subo, a very popular Nintendo account on the Chinese social network Weibo. We learn through this that an Ace Attorney game should make an appearance during the next Direct.
Capcom’s famous legal license in any case proves to be a strong ally for the Nintendo Switch. The latest is Apollo Justice, released at the end of last January. Whether it’s a new opus, a Remaster/Remake, a collection or anything else remains to be determined, if the latest leak turns out to be accurate in any case. However, we will have to wait for an official announcement from the Kyoto company to know if a Nintendo Direct will take place soon.
Since the Switch 2 should be released by April 2025, it would in any case be a matter of granting a final swan song to the first hybrid console of the name, which has reigned almost unchallenged since 2017. We bet that Big N therefore keeps big exclusives on hand to accompany the release of its next console. We should therefore not expect any sensational announcements during the next and for the moment hypothetical Direct.
