This Friday, December 9, they were surprised to learn that one of the mums had suffered a stroke. This mom is Souad Romero. In front of the cameras, the 30-year-old returned with sincerity to this health concern which failed cost him his life when she was only 25 years old, as reported by our colleagues from PurePeople.
“We are a dynamic, energetic, full of life, positive family. […] We don’t worry because at any time in life everything can change overnight […] Thirteen years ago, I had a stroke. It happened six months after Mario was born…”, said the mother of Kézia, Mario, Laina, Isaac and Rachel, who assured to have been quickly transported to the hospital. However, this will not have been enough to prevent him from keeping heavy sequelae for a long time. “I started to talk, but I couldn’t”she revealed. “I had sequelae for a year. I lost my speech and I was paralyzed on the right side. My tongue was heavy and speaking was very complicated. I couldn’t articulate, I spoke like a deaf and mute person”admitted the young woman.

During this complicated period, Souad Romero was able to count on the support of her husband, Mariobut also of his children, and in particular of his eldest daughter, Rachel. “I was 8 years old when my mother had a stroke”explained the young girl, now 21 years old. “Seeing your mother sick, paralyzed, it is sure that it is not happy. I had to take care of my siblings very early. I had more responsibilities”she added, before concluding with pride: “But we can say that my mother is a warrior, a fighter!” What certainly strengthen the family spirit!
