“One Piece” hasn’t even started on Netflix when Jamie Lee Curtis is already wanting a role for season 2. You can read here whether she has a chance in the live-action adaptation of the anime.
- Jamie Lee Curtis posed for a TikTok interview during the 2022 Oscars.
- One of her favorite “One Piece” characters is Nico Robin, but in the Netflix live-action series she would want to play someone else in Season 2.
- However, season 1 doesn’t even have a start date and consequently season 2 is still in the stars.
This year’s Oscars 2022 also provided a lot to talk about. Meanwhile, there were some quieter moments backstage, and One Piece fans were particularly excited for an interview with Scream Queens star Jamie Lee Curtis. She confessed to TikTok hosts Emily Uribe (@emilyuuribe) and Juju Green on the red carpet that she great interest in it have to appear in the live-action series “One Piece”.
Netflix is implementing the popular anime series as a real-life series and will be using the first 10 episodes only on the surface of the pirate epic scratch. The anime matters right now over 1,000 episodes. Should the Netflix version have a second season, it would Actress very happy to take on the role of Kuleha. Reddit user u/zorojuri_200 captured the live recording in a clip.
“You know there’s this wizened old lady… maybe I can be Kuleha,” she said. “Think [Tochter] Ruby said I would definitely play that.” Curtis’ adopted daughter Ruby Guest appeared on episode 692 of “The One Piece Podcast” last year, and a listener suggested the role for Guest’s mother. Guest responded, “My mother loves Kuleha. I’d be 100 percent for it, and honestly, since Netflix is doing the live-action adaptation, I’d highly recommend pulling some strings to make it work. […] I know my mother would be there 100 percent.”
Jamie Lee Curtis also shared that her Favorite character Tony Tony Chopper is and mentioned her friend, the voice actress Brina Palencia, who lends her voice to Chopper in the American dubbing of the anime. The 63-year-old actress explained that she would love to play Nico Robin but is “a little too old” for the role. Incidentally, Kuleha is still in great shape at 141 (!) and was a good teacher for the ship’s doctor, Chopper.
Curtis had hers before Shared love of anime, especially “One Piece”.. At San Diego Comic-Con 2016, she said that if she could be any TV character, she would be Nico Robin. But no matter which of the two roles she took on in the live-action series, you would Jamie Lee Curtis only in season 2 of “One Piece” see. Because both Chopper and Robin only encounter the Straw Hats after crossing the Grand Line achieved. And very likely, Season 1 will end right there.
