Fans of the adventures of Straw Hat (Luffy) are eagerly awaiting the official release of the fighting game and RPG, One Piece Odyssey. Recently, Bandai Namco updated the Japanese official website of the app and shared new pictures.
These new visual communications allow us to learn several things. First, they present two new characters : Lim, a young girl living on the island and hating pirates, and Adio, a castaway who will take on the role of guide for Luffy’s crew.
In addition, these give information on the mechanics of the game, which seem to be divided into two parts: adventure and combat. The first component emphasizes exploration, a time during which it will be necessary to use the skills and abilities of the characters in order to pass various obstacles and go to various places.
Of course, One Piece Odyssey will also offer its share of confrontations, the mechanics of which seem to be based on a fairly classic system. But we can expect some new features, especially on the side of bonuses granted during combat or with regard to team combos.
Scheduled for this year 2022, it’s a safe bet that Bandai Namco will soon reveal new information about One Piece Odyssey. We will, of course, be there and we will keep you informed as soon as more information becomes available.
For the moment, we do not have a precise release date for One Piece Odyssey. On the other hand, the title must land on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
