At the time of writing these lines, there are only a few hours left to wait before seeing land and being able to discover One Piece Odyssey, developed by ILCA, Inc and published by Bandai Namco. Moreover, the development studio and the publisher in charge of the software have recently shared the launch trailer.

This new visual communication, which lasts more than two minutes, sums up the One Piece Odyssey adventure. As a reminder, on said title, players have the possibility of embodying different playable characters, that is to say all the members of the Straw Hat crew. Thanks to the world of memories, called “Memoria”, we will be able to discover or rediscover certain narrative arcs of the manga, in particular Marine Ford and Water Seven to name just two examples.

One Piece Odyssey mixes combat sequences, being played on a turn-by-turn basis and which can be punctuated with events (known as “Dramatic scenes”) giving us very specific objectives, as well as exploration phases. The Bandai Namco title also offers various dungeons.
In addition, note that a demo version of the software is available for free on PS4, PS5 as well as on Xbox Series. This allows you to browse the beginning of the game and, therefore, to get a first idea of One Piece Odyssey, before potentially buying it.
One Piece Odyssey arrives January 13, 2023 on PS4 and PS5, Xbox Series. The game’s Steam page (PC) shows a release date set for January 12.
