One Piece Odyssey we had already teased a passage to Alabasta during his presentation of the Tokyo Game Show and so it’s time to show us a little more about the presence of this arc in his turn-based RPG.
One Piece Odyssey will contain the best character of the manga: Carue
One Piece Odyssey has long teased Waford and/or Lim’s ability to recreate people’s memories. This therefore inevitably led us to suppose that this would be the means for bandai namco and ILCA to be able to enjoy the whole manga universe ofEiichiro Oda without necessarily making a summary game of One Piece (or ignore all like World Seeker).
If the previous video was only an Alabasta teaser with some sets and Vivi, it is now clear that we will not be satisfied with a small cutscene but that we are off to a good start to relive the arc with several key moments and characters. but also the exploration of Alubarna and the desert that surrounds it. We expect to spend at least a few hours here before the inevitable fight against Crocodile.
No clues about another arc which could also be entitled to this treatment but we suspect that Alabasta will not be the only one in the game, something more or less confirmed by the description of the video on the Youtube channel American from the editor who declares “Return to Alabasta and beyond” (which also makes clear the absence of the previous adventures). One Piece Odyssey will be released on January 13, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, pre-orders of the game and its collector’s edition are already open.
