rather expected, One Piece Odyssey, developed by the ILCA, Inc studio and published by Bandai Namco, will allow players to discover or rediscover several narrative arcs from Eiichirō Oda’s manga. Moreover, in the following, you can find a summary of the arcs present on the game.
Attention, although we have been careful not to reveal too much, this article could spoil you certain elements of the manga and / or the game.
One Piece story arcs present in One Piece Odyssey
As you probably already know, One Piece Odyssey has a gameplay mechanic that allows us to (re)dive into some of the manga’s narrative arcs One Piece. This is the world of memories, named “Mémoria”. Without further ado, here is some information regarding One Piece story arcs which are available and can be browsed on One Piece Odyssey :
- The Alabasta Bow → takes place after the East Blue saga.
- Important/new characters in this arc: Vivi, Crocodile and Smoker.
- The Water Seven Bow → takes place after the events of the Celestial Island saga.
- Important/new characters in this arc: The CP9 and Franky.
- The Marine Ford Bow → Marine Ford is an arc of the War at the Summit saga.
- Important/new characters in this arc: Ace, Whitebeard, Blackbeard and the Seven Great Corsairs.
- The Dressrosa Bow → takes place after the Punk Hazard arc and before the Four Emperors saga.
- Important/new characters in this arc: Don Quijote Doflamingo, Trafalgar Law and Rebecca.
About story arcs of One Piece present in One Piece Odyssey, note that the development studio and the publisher in charge of the title have shared a trailer of more than two minutes, which turns out to be rather interesting.
