One Piece Odyssey will be entitled to its demo and adapts the Marine Ford and Dressrosa arcs to its sauce

Last straight line for One Piece Odyssey, who begins to go around the arcs of the manga that he will adapt in his own way. After Alabasta and Water Seven, the JRPG tackles two more big chunks of manga with one of the fan favorite arcs, Marine Fordas well as dressrosa to make us face the terrible Doflamingo. The whole thing is presented today with a new trailer which shows that once again, the events will be a little different for Luffy and his friends.

No Punk Hazard or Fish-Man in sight for now (phew)

One Piece Odyssey is not intended to make us relive the exact story of the manga, but alternate versions of certain arcs. Which explains why the crew ends up in Marineford to try to save Ace, even if it’s all just a dream (we all know how it’s going to end unfortunately). Same thing for Dressrosa, where you can see characters who normally have no business here. Enough to ensure a few surprises for manga connoisseurs, as well as a good dose of fan service.

And if this trailer hasn’t convinced you yet, note in your calendars that a demo will arrive on January 10, 2023a few days before the release, to let you know whether to purchase or not.

One Piece Odyssey will be released on January 13, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series. Be sure to read our recent preview to learn more about the game.
