Actress files for divorce after 13 months

Actress Sophia Bush’s second marriage was also not destined to last long: After only 13 months, she separated from Grant Hughes.
Since her big breakthrough with the hit series “One Tree Hill”, actress Sophia Bush (41) has gone from strength to strength professionally. In her private life, however, things seem to be going less smoothly. Her first marriage to her “One Tree Hill” colleague Chad Michael Murray (41) broke up after just five months. According to reports, after a surprisingly short time, she ended her renewed marriage attempt with entrepreneur Grant Hughes (41).

Joint charity project to continue
“Sophia and Grant have been close friends for ten years and came together through their love of community service during the coronavirus pandemic,” an insider commented on the recent divorce drama. And added: “They continue to run their non-profit organization together and remain good friends.”
The non-profit organization mentioned is theirs, which they founded together in 2022 “Bush Hughes Foundation for Progress”which claims to be committed to “equality, social justice and progress in the city of Tulsa”.
Divorce message out of the blue
The end of the relationship of the socially committed couple comes as a surprise. Only about seven weeks ago, Sophia Bush celebrated her first wedding anniversary with an extremely emotional Instagram post. Captioning a black and white wedding photo, she said: “Today is 365 days that I call you ‘husband’. The best decision of my life. It still feels the same. Ecstatic. Grinning and laughing together in run the future. I love you my darling. Happy Anniversary.”
