On had more festive first anniversaries… Tuesday, May 2, the representatives of the four components of Nupes – LFI, EELV, PS and PCF – did not meet to “celebrate” the first anniversary of this composite team, but to take stock of these difficult months. The exchanges were, according to several participants, “frank, sometimes rough but respectful”.
However, the tone rose when the national secretary of the PCF, Fabien Roussel, considered that the left alliance was “a ball, a straightjacket”, using the terms he recently distilled in the press, ulcerating the Insoumis. Scalded, the national coordinator of LFI, Manuel Bompard, had however ordered him, before the meeting, to stop “shooting his camp”. In vain.
