OnePlus N30 5G: 108 megapixels and a big battery for the entry level

Europe has the North CEs, the Americans have the Ns. A few years ago, OnePlus decided to segment its ranges by offering each continent its own line of smartphones. If the names differ, the technical sheets are relatively similar between the two families. The proof with this N30 5G which is none other than a rebadged Nord CE 3 Lite.

It is therefore no surprise that we find a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as a Full HD + definition. The center of the slab hosts a punch integrating a 16 megapixel module. On the back, two huge photo modules are placed. The main one has a definition of 108 megapixels when the second houses a depth sensor and a macro sensor. OnePlus has skipped the ultra wide-angle, which is a rather questionable choice, and prefers to bet everything on a 108-megapixel main sensor. Let’s hope that the photo component has been improved compared to its CE 3 Lite sidekick.

To animate it, you have to rely on the Snapdragon 695 5G, the same SoC that already equipped the previous OnePlus N20 5G version. This Qualcomm chip is coupled with 8 GB of RAM that can increase to 16 GB thanks to virtual memory. The base storage is 128 GB, but OnePlus has integrated a microSD card slot that allows it to be expanded up to 1 TB. A large 5000 mAh battery is included with fast charging at 67 W, but limited to 50 W in addition. -Atlantic.
