The new OnePlus Nord 3 has just been made official by the Chinese manufacturer and should soon be on sale.

The formalization of this smartphone was expected, the boss of the company having himself given last week its date of presentation. Those who enjoy holding the firm’s devices in their hands should not be out of place.

Make way for 80 watt fast charging

OnePlus has surely chosen the best time to release its new OnePlus Nord 3. Indeed, by presenting this device at the beginning of July, it avoids being overshadowed by the event of the month, the Unpacked conference of Samsung, scheduled for July 26 and during which we will discover in particular the Galaxy Z Fold5.

Fortunately, the Shenzhen firm has taken the lead and offers us a device with a neat technical sheet:

  • MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC
  • 6.74-inch AMOLED display, with 120Hz refresh rate
  • 5,000 mAh battery, accompanied by 80 watt fast charging
  • 8 or 12 GB RAM
  • 128 or 256 GB memory
  • Triple 50+8+2 megapixel rear sensor
  • 16-megapixel selfie sensor

OnePlus also clarified that fast charging would allow the battery to go from 0 to 100% in 15 minutes.

An unsurprising price

OnePlus also promises more substantial updates than for its OnePlus Nord 2T. Thus, three major Android updates will be possible with this model and four years of security updates. What to let clearly come before thinking about changing your personal phone again.

For those who were waiting for the device to buy it as soon as it was released, it is already available for pre-order on the OnePlus site, with the first deliveries to be made on July 19. The 8 + 128 GB version is displayed at the price of 449 euros, while the 12 + 256 GB version is entitled to a promotion of 50 euros until the end of the month. It can thus be acquired today for the sum of 499 euros (against an original price of 549 euros).
