The Chinese brand could very soon offer a more affordable version of its connected watch.

OnePlus leaks the name of its future connected watch on its website
We learned a few days ago that the manufacturer was working on true wireless headphones, the OnePlus Nord Buds, some technical specifications of which have also leaked on the Web.
To believe that OnePlus’ communication is not the most infallible because it is again thanks to an online error that we now know the name of the brand’s next smartwatch, the OnePlus Nord Watch.
Indeed, a leaker by the name of Mukul Sharma posted on his Twitter account a capture of the Indian website of OnePlus, where the mention “OnePlus Nord Watch” was clearly visible. This leak therefore gives hope for a close launch of this new member of the Nord family.
A more affordable and hopefully better-finished smartwatch
Apart from the name, not much is known about this OnePlus Nord Watch. The latter will not be the replacement for the OnePlus Watch, released in 2021, but a new, more affordable product. Rumors suggest an introductory price of between 70 and 100 dollars, when the OnePlus Watch was available at a recommended retail price of 159 euros.
We can imagine that the device will offer most of the sports monitoring functionalities, but also heart rate and possibly blood oxygenation sensors, already present on many smartwatches offered in this price range.
However, let’s hope that this product is more successful at launch than its big sister. If at Clubic we did not have to complain during our test of the bugs referenced by a good number of users, gross translation errors and poorly optimized software marred the first steps of this connected watch.
Finally, there is no information regarding the release date of the OnePlus Nord Watch. It could logically accompany the presentation of a OnePlus Nord 3, which is not expected before the second half of 2022.
