ONEPLUS OPEN: RELEASE, PRICE, TECHNOLOGY

The OnePlus Open couldn’t be a completely new smartphone. Instead, OnePlus’ first foldable is said to be a rebranded variant of the latest model in a series of foldable smartphones.

  • The OnePlus Open is actually supposed to be a renamed Oppo Find N3.
  • A video shows the Find N3 hands-on.
  • In addition to a barely visible crease on the inner display, the smartphone will probably have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and plenty of memory.

The OnePlus Open or OnePlus Fold will be the first foldable smartphone from OnePlus. The manufacturer has already indicated, at least in India, that a foldable smartphone will be released. In the following video you can see a smartphone that will serve as the basis for the soon-to-be-released foldable.

You read that right. The video is about the next generation of foldables from Oppo. According to Gizmochina, the OnePlus Open is supposed to be a renamed Oppo Find N3. That could certainly be the case, after all, Oppo took over OnePlus a few years ago.

That doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing. The Oppo Find N3 is said to have a less visible crease than the Galaxy Z Fold 5. This cannot be confirmed in the article. There will also be AMOLED screens with 7.82 inches and 6.31 inches, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and up to 16 gigabytes of RAM. The internal memory should be up to one terabyte.
