The launch of the OnePlus Open seems to be within reach. A teaser image is currently being shared by the manufacturer on social networks.

Unofficial render images of the OnePlus Open are already circulating on the Internet. There is also a leak that the inner display of OnePlus’ first foldable is said to have a 2K resolution. Now OnePlus India presents us with a first image on X (formerly Twitter) that, together with a post, announces an impending launch.
In the post, the manufacturer holds back from big talk. All we can expect is a real “OnePlus experience”. OnePlus ends with an “Opening Soon.”. The foldable might get the name OnePlus Open after all. In the image we see how the two halves of the foldable smartphone come apart. On the sides we see different buttons. On the right side as we see it, there are two elongated buttons. On the other side you can see a button with a pattern.
Gizmochina has heard rumors that the OnePlus Open will be released in India on October 19th. That could certainly be reconciled with the announcement. We’ll find out in less than two weeks whether that actually happens.
