OnePlus has confirmed the launch of its first tablet, named OnePlus Pad. Just before its presentation, scheduled for February 7, we already know a little more about its technical data sheet.
While we’ve been hearing about a “OnePlus Pad” for several years now, the Chinese manufacturer finally seems ready to launch its first tablet on the market. On social networks, OnePlus has confirmed that it will arrive on February 7, the same day as its high-end smartphone OnePlus 11.
The OnePlus Pad will have an aluminum alloy frame and a camera centered on the back of the device, which will make it more useful when using the tablet horizontally. OnePlus also said that the OnePlus Pad will have an ergonomic, curved frame, which will allow users to ” hold the tablet comfortably for an extended period of time without fatigue “. Only one color will be offered: Halo Green.
What technical characteristics for the OnePlus Pad?
Apart from its design, which was revealed through an image, we already have an idea of what to expect from the technical sheet. The latter would share many specifications with the next Oppo Pad 2.
The latter will likely use a approximately 11-inch screen with a very high refresh rate of 144 Hz. We would be entitled to a LCD panel and not OLED, but it will still support Dolby Vision as well as HDR10+. Regarding the definition, it would be 2800 x 2000 pixelsand the ratio would be just under 4:3.
Regarding autonomy, the tablet would bet on a battery of about 9500 mAh, and a fast wired recharge of 67 W would be in the game. It is therefore much less than the OnePlus 11, which is compatible with 100 W.
Finally, the CPU reference is the most mysterious part so far. OnePlus could opt for the timeless Snapdragon 870, but this chip is no longer young. We hope that the Chinese manufacturer will instead choose a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, as on the OnePlus 10T or the future OnePlus 11R which will be released in India. We will know more anyway very quickly, the official presentation taking place in a week.
