A large-scale search operation has been going on in the Feldkirchen area for hours. A 72-year-old woman from Klagenfurt has disappeared from Kadöll since 11:45 a.m. The fire brigade and rescue dog squadron of the Samaritan Association are currently still on the search operation. The police helicopter was also used to provide support, but had to be canceled due to the weather conditions.
“The woman was sighted several times, once even accompanied by another person,” reports Squadron Commander Franz Blatnik from the Samaritan Federation rescue dog squadron. The 72-year-old woman with dementia was visiting Kadöll near Glanegg, and there has been no trace of her since Wednesday afternoon. 15 dog handlers with search dogs have been in action for hours. All paths, meadows and fields have already been searched. The 72-year-old missing woman is approx. 160 centimeters tall, is of normal build, has grey, shoulder-length hair and is wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black jeans and slippers. She has neither documents nor a mobile phone with her and could be in the Feldkirchen or Klagenfurt area.
