Lidl has a special daily offer for children and parents on February 20th. The discounter offers a special children’s smartwatch from Xplora at a lower price. It is the XGO2 model. However, the promotional price is only valid until midnight.
In addition to a phone function, the Xplora XGO2 also offers real-time GPS tracking. Voice and text messages can also be sent. A school mode ensures less distraction, thanks to the IP67 certification the watch is protected against water and therefore also suitable for use outside.
There is a camera on the bracelet that can be used to take snapshots and videos, and a flashlight function is also integrated. The smartwatch is connected to the mobile network via 2G and 4G (LTE). However, a suitable SIM card including tariff is not included in the scope of delivery.
The Lidl offer is worth a look if you are looking for a special smartwatch for children that has location and telephone functions including an SOS button.

The Xplora XGO 2 is currently available from Lidl for EUR 99.99, which is EUR 30 below the manufacturer’s recommended retail price. Other dealers charge between 110 and 120 euros. The smartwatch is available in the colors blue and pink.
