OPEC+ lowers its surplus forecast this year


LONDON, Aug 2 (Reuters) – OPEC+’s joint technical committee has slashed its oil market surplus forecast for this year by 200,000 barrels a day to 800,000 barrels a day, three OPEC delegates told Reuters. the organization.

The joint technical committee of OPEC + meets Tuesday ahead of a meeting scheduled for Wednesday of OPEC +, an alliance between the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies, led by Russia.

According to one of the sources, the joint technical committee of OPEC+ did not discuss the subject of production policy during its meeting.
