Open longer this year – the Christmas market will be extended until January 9th

Normally it would have ended on Stefanitag. This year the Christmas market on Domplatz and Residenzplatz will be extended – until January 9th.

The Salzburg Christmas Market will keep its doors open up to and including January 9th. For the first time in its history, the market will now delight visitors for two weeks longer. This decision was made by the operators after the market had to remain closed for three weeks due to the fourth Austria-wide lockdown. The regulations for entering the market remain a 2-G certificate, photo ID and an FFP2 mask to be worn on the premises.
