In addition to its return to the smartphone market in France, Oppo has just unveiled a new pair of in-ear headphones, the Enco X3i, whose design and technical specifications are very reminiscent of the OnePlus Buds 3 models…

At the same time as the announcement of its new Oppo Reno 12 FS and Oppo A40 smartphones, the brand presents its new Enco X3i earphones. Available in black and blue, these models are particularly bright, exactly like the OnePlus Buds 3. Moreover, the Oppo earphones have the same lines as those of the sister brand, as does their charging storage case. In fact, they also offer the same technical characteristics down to the comma.

Thus, we are entitled to the presence of two transducers (woofer and tweeter) of respectively 10.4 and 6 mm in diameter allowing, on paper, to obtain a very high quality sound thanks to the separation of the channels. The Oppo Enco X3i headphones are Hi-Res certified and support the AAC, SBC and LHDC codecs via the Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connection.

ANC function and long battery life

They feature three microphones and offer an active noise reduction function with a transparent mode to listen to what is happening around you while enjoying the music.

With ANC enabled, Oppo promises 6.5 hours of battery life and up to 28 hours when charging from the case. When the noise reduction function is disabled, the brand announces a battery life of 10 hours for the headphones and up to 44 hours with the case (for a volume at 50%). Also according to Oppo, it is possible to have 2 hours of battery life after only 10 minutes of charging. The case unfortunately does not charge wirelessly but via a USB-C port.

The headphones are IP55 certified and can therefore withstand rain or sweat, which allows them to be used for sports sessions, for example.

Exactly the same dimensions and functions

Just like the OnePlus Buds 3, the Oppo Enco X3i models weigh 4.8 grams each. They have dimensions of 31.68 x 24.4 mm while the case measures 58.72 x 25.81 mm. They come with three pairs of tips. In terms of functions, we can count on Google Fast Pair technology for instant pairing with an Android mobile, dual connection (multipoint), auto calibration, customizable touch control and a gaming mode for low latency. They are controllable via the HeyMelody application.
