A few days ago, leaker Digital Chat Station unveiled the new design of Oppo’s next flagship smartphone, the Find X6 Pro. Unlike the previous generation, the next-generation smartphone will bet on a circular design for its photo sensorslike the recent Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

This year, Oppo’s high-end devices are going to be all about photography, and need a lot of space to accommodate the new cameras. We already know that the Pro model will be equipped with a main 50 MP IMX989 1-inch sensor, a 50 MP IMX890 1/1.56-inch ultra-wide-angle sensor, as well as a third 50 MP IMX890 periscope camera. offering 3X optical zoom. However, we now know more about the classic Find X6.

The appearance of the Find X6 is totally different from that of the Find X5

On his Twitter account, the famous leaker Evan Blass did not wait for the official presentation of smartphones to reveal an official image of the classic Find X6. The latter does not use a circular photo module, but rather a rectangular shape placed at the top left of the device. We can see three cameras, including a periscopic sensor. This will be a first in this series, since only the Oppo Reno Zoom Edition had already benefited from such a camera.

Based on previous reports, the Find X6 will have to make do with smaller sensors than the Pro model. We will find a 50 MP IMX890 main camera, a Samsung JN1 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor as well as’a 50 MP IMX890 periscope. This configuration should still allow it to offer much better shots than the Find X5 Pro released at the beginning of the year.

Under the cameras, we obviously find the mention Hasselblad, the partner of Oppo and OnePlus in the photo. We also recall that the processing of the shots will be provided by a MiriSilicon chip signed Oppo, which promises to greatly improve the rendering of photos. We will therefore probably be dealing with one of the best photophones of 2023.
