Oppo launches its A77 5G in Thailand: mid-range and Dimensity 810 on the program

Five years after a 4G version, Oppo is releasing its A77 in a 5G variant initially available in Thailand. A mid-range model that takes up the codes of the Reno 7, integrating a Dimensity 810 processor.

While in France, the Chinese company remains relatively wise in terms of smartphone releases, it is different in Asia. After an A54 model unveiled at the end of May, the month of June opens with an A77 5G announced in Thailand.

The smartphone has a technical sheet of the most classic. A mid-range service with a 6.5-inch LCD panel with HD + definition and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The firm indicates a light peak of 600 nits. A teardrop-shaped notch is present and houses an 8-megapixel front module. The back is reminiscent of the Reno 7 range released recently in our regions. The photo island houses a 48-megapixel module as well as a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 108 megapixel mode is available, as often with Oppo, to improve the precision of the shots by software processing.

Inside, the Oppo A77 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. 5 GB of virtual RAM is also offered, although we still wonder why such a smartphone would need to use 11 GB of RAM. For storage, count on 128 GB, expandable with a microSD card. A nice 5000 mAh battery is integrated, with a charge at 33 W. Charging to 100% takes 69 minutes and it takes half an hour to reach a level of 50%, according to Oppo.

The smartphone will be on sale from June 10 in Thailand for a price of around €300 after gross conversion. We have no information about its arrival in France, but we know that Oppo still has to cover ground on the mid-range: it is therefore not excluded to see it arrive in France, under another name may -be.
