Oppo, new partner of the Football Champions League

BRIEF // After tennis and football, Oppo is continuing to invest in sport by becoming, this time, a partner in a major football competition: the Champions League.

Oppo today announces its partnership with UEFA, the association bringing together and representing the national football federations of Europe, concerning several competitions including the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the UEFA Futsal Champions League Finals and the UEFA Youth League Finals for the next two seasons (2022-2023 and 2023-2024). The smartphone giant thus becomes the first Chinese brand to join forces with the most prestigious football competition in Europe. As part of this partnership, Oppo “will benefit from increased visibility during broadcasts and around the stadiums, including on perimeter advertising, the Champions League website and social networks”it is specified.

This isn’t Oppo’s first foray into the world of sports. The company is also a partner of Roland-Garros and Wimbledon, but also of the International Cricket Council, and even appears on the shirts of the FC Barcelona football club.
