Oppo Pad: visuals reveal the future tablet

As the official presentation of the Find X5 approaches, Oppo intends to take advantage of the attention generated by it to highlight other products. This is most certainly the case with the Oppo Pad, the new mid-range tablet from the Chinese brand.

The firm used the social network Weibo to post official visuals of the slate, and leakers took the opportunity to share some information about it. Aware that the market is mainly divided between products costing less than €250 and others billed over €600, Oppo is preparing a mid-range model with an interesting technical sheet. One of these visuals shows that it will be compatible with the proprietary stylus, the Oppo Pencil.

the leaker Digital Chat Station, often very well informed, shared a still incomplete technical sheet on its Weibo account. We learn that the tablet will have a 10.95-inch LCD screen displaying 2560 x 1600 pixels and offering a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

It would be powered by a Snapdragon 870 (engraved in 7 nm) coupled with 6 GB of RAM. This SoC includes an Adreno 650 GPU, which delivers good performance in video games.

We observe the presence of a single sensor at the back. It would be a 13-megapixel wide-angle, but the tablet would also carry an 8-megapixel front module. Digital Chat Station also indicates that autonomy would be provided by an 8360 mAh battery.

Another Internet user named WhyLab posted what looks very much like real images of the tablet, specifying in passing its compatibility with a magnetic keyboard, however without a trackpad. These elements could be confirmed within two days, as well as the possible release of the device in Europe.
